BAIL BONDS IN HARRISON COUNTY

  1. First and best options for defendant: Post Cash Bail

Example if defendant's bail is $10,000 and a friend or relative can come up with $10,000 in cash or certified check and take that money to the jail where defendant is being bailed the defendant will be released immediately. Jails typically don't accept personal checks.
If the defendant makes all court appearances on time after the case is concluded the money ($10,000 in this example) will be returned to the person who posted it. One should allow up to a couple of months after the case is concluded for the money to be returned. In this example a bail bondsman is not needed.
  2. 2

    Stay in Custody

The judicial system requires a defendant to appear within 72 hours excluding weekends and/or holidays. By waiting to appear in front of a judge it opens up an opportunity to get the bail lowered or be released on one's own recognizance. A promise to appear does not require a bail bondsman or bond to be written. In this example a bail bondsman is not needed if released under one's own recognizance and the cost for the bond would ultimately be lower if the bail is lowered.
  3. 3

When You Need a Bail Bondsman in Harrison County

If you do not have the money to post cash bail or do not want to wait to appear in front of a judge, Sid Davis at BAIL ONE NAT'L BONDING will post a bail bond.
  4. 4

Bail Bond Costs - Flexible Payment Options

The fee is 10% of the total bail required. This is not refundable even if the charges are not pursued in the judicial system.
When a friend or loved one is in jail, the last thing you want to worry about is how you're going to pay for their release. We believe everyone is entitled to the right to bail and money, or immediate lack there of, should not be the only determiner as to whether your loved one must remain in custody.

VICKSBURG ELECTION 2017; BLUEPRINT FOR GROWTH & PROSPERTY

VICKSBURG LOOK
TO THE FUTURE

There are over 25,000 incorporated communities in America. How many of these are truly successful? How is it that some small towns and rust belt cities are prospering, while many others are suffering disinvestment, loss of identity, and even abandonment? Why are some communities able to maintain their historic character and quality of life in the face of a rapidly changing world, while others have lost the very features that once gave them distinction and appeal? How can communities, both big and small, grow without losing their heart and soul?

From coast to coast, communities are struggling to answer these questions. After observing hundreds of communities in all regions of the country, I have come to some conclusions about why some communities succeed and others fail. There are many communities that have found ways to retain their small town values, historic character, scenic beauty and sense of community, yet sustain a prosperous economy. And they’ve done it without accepting the kind of cookie-cutter development that has turned many communities into faceless places that young people flee, tourists avoid and which no longer instill a sense of pride in residents.

Every “successful” community has its own strengths and weaknesses, but they all share some common characteristics. It’s clear for instance that successful communities involve a broad cross-section of residents in determining and planning the future. They also capitalize on their distinctive assets — their architecture, history, natural surroundings, and home grown businesses — rather than trying to adopt a new and different identity Most successful communities also utilize a variety of private-sector and market incentives to influence to influence their development, instead of relying solely on government regulations.

Successful communities always have a plan for the future. Unfortunately,
“planning” is a dirty word in some communities, especially in small towns and rural
areas. In some places, this is the result of today’s highly polarized political culture.
In other places, it results from a misunderstanding of planning and its value.
"The truth is, failing to plan, simply means planning to fail. It is difficult to name any successful individual, organization, corporation or community that doesn’t plan for the future."
Try to imagine a company that didn’t have a business plan. It would have a very hard time attracting investors or staying competitive in the marketplace. The same is true of communities. A community plan is simply a blueprint for the future. People may differ on how to achieve the community’s vision, but without a blueprint, a community will flounder.

The proof is everywhere, communities that set low standards or no standards will compete to the bottom. On the other hand, communities that set high standards will compete to the top. This is because they know that if they say no to bad development they will always get better development in its place.
Too many elected officials have an “it’ll do” attitude toward new development. Worse yet, they’ll accept anything that comes down the pike, even if the proposed project is completely at odds with the community’s well thought out vision for the future. They are simply afraid to place any demands on a developer for fear that the developer will walk away if the community asks for too much. This is especially true when dealing with out of town developers or with national chain stores and franchises.
Successful communities have strong leaders and committed citizens. A small number of committed people can make a big difference in a community. Sometime these people are longtime residents upset with how unmanaged growth has changed what they love about their hometown. Others times, the leaders might be newcomers who want to make sure that their adopted hometown doesn’t develop the same ugliness or congestion as the one they left. More often than not, they’re simply citizens who care a great deal about their community.

We live in a rapidly changing world. In his new book,The Great Reset, author Richard Florida says that “the post-recession economy is reshaping the way we live, work, shop and move around.” He goes on to predict that “communities that embrace the future will prosper. Those that do not will decline.” One big change is that people and businesses can now choose where to live or operate a business. In today’s world, communities that cannot differentiate themselves will have no competitive advantage.

This means that quality of life is more important than ever. Successful communities know that sameness is not a plus. It is minus. Successful
communities set themselves apart. They know that communities that choose their future are always more successful than those that leave their future to chance.

TYPES OF GULFPORT, HARRISON COUNTY BAIL BONDS

Surety Bail Bonds

A private system of bail, free of taxpayers support. Privately licensed bail agents post bonds with the court, guaranteeing a defendant’s appearance. Appearance becomes the sole responsibility of the bail agent and is the most effective bail system.
When using the Service of a Surety bail bondsman, the client pays 10% of the face amount of the bond to the bonding company in exchange for the bonding company posting the entire amount of the bail. This 10% fee is NON REFUNDABLE and the mandatory charge in the state of Mississippi. However Bail One National Bonding offer financing starting as low as 4% down on most bonds with a qualified Cosigner.

Cash Bonds

The defendant, or someone on his/her behalf, must pay the Court the full amount of the bail, in cash, in order to be released. The defendant and the co-signer, if any, must sign the bond that guarantees the defendant’s appearance at future court appearances. This is a governmental system.

Own Recognizance Bonds

This system is a government system in which people who have not been arrested before swear before the court that they will appear on their own accord for all required court dates.

What is Bail?

Bail is the means by which the U.S.criminal justice system permits the release of a defendant from custody while ensuring his appearance at all required court proceedings. Bail is the legacy of Angelo-Saxon jurisprudence wherein defendants were delivered to their sureties, who gave security for their appearance. Bail bonds initially were put up by people who pledged their own property as security for the bond.

The commercial bond approach is by far the most effective form of bail, as demonstrated in the Bureau of Statistics study that compared commercial bonding with all other pre-trial release methods in getting defendants to court.

When a person is arrested on probable cause of having committed a criminal offense, he or she is incarcerated and booked into a detention facility. Bail is determined by a preset bail schedule or magistrate prior to arraignment. A bail agent is contacted, and he or she arranges to post the defendant’s bail, whereupon the defendant is released. The bail agent charges the defendant a premium (usually 10% of the bond) for assuming the risk of the defendant’s not appearing. If the defendant fails to appear, the court declares the bond forfeited and the bail agent, usually after getting an opportunity to recover the absconded defendant, has to pay the forfeiture, which constitutes the full amount of the bond.

Most states regard bail as a form of insurance. Hence, bail agents are licensed and regulated like any other insurance producer, subject to certain basic qualifications and pre-licensing and continuing education requirements. Most states also require bail agents to be appointed by an admitted bail insurance company. In addition, some states require that the bail agent be certified by a bail insurance company with a ”qualified power of attorney,” the purpose of which is to confer limited authority on the agent to execute bonds.

Bail agents perform an extraordinarily valuable public service to law enforcement and accused people alike. The Bail Clause of the Eighth amendment to the Constitution embodies the longstanding Anglo-American tradition of favoring pretrial release of accused people. This frees up crowded jail space and permits defendants to participate more fully in their own defense. Bail agents, backed by financial resources of surety companies, make possible the pretrial release of in excess of 2 million defendants annually, at no expense to taxpayers, by providing assurances to the state that the people charged with crimes will appear as scheduled to answer charges.

As we always say; " We have the key to Any Jail Coast to Coast"

SEWING & ALTERATIONS BEST IN GULFPORT

Just a Couple of reviews:

I generally do not write on-line reviews, but I HAD to make an exception for Debra because she is simply amazing. I was packing late one night for an early morning trip from Miami to Vegas for a movie premiere when I noticed my dress had a rip on the bottom. It was not along a seam so I knew I needed expert help FAST. In desperation, I got on YELP at about 1am ET to search for "fast alterations" and found Magnifique. I sent a message via the Yelp app and had a reply within the hour. Thankfully, Debra said she was able to accommodate me the following day. I headed straight to her when I landed in Vegas with only about an hour to spare before I had to be at my hotel and get ready for the event. Even though she was busy, Debra expertly fixed my dress while indulging me in friendly conversation. Her prices are extremely reasonable -- even for rush jobs. Whether you live in Vegas or are just visiting and find yourself in need of alterations, don't go anywhere else. You won't be disappointed!

I purchased a strapless prom dress for my daughter online. It needed to be taken in around the back and hip area. The dress has stones attached to the top part. I went to a couple of places to see if they would be able to fix the dress and was told no because of the rhinestones. After searching and searching I finally came across this ad 4 days before prom, when I called Debra was available and nice. I went to her right away, not only was she able to fix the dress but it was done in time for prom. She also did work to a friend of my daughters dress before their special night. Never judge a book by its cover. No she's not in a shop but her customer service and work is excellent. When the dress was completed my daughter and I was sooooo happy. Debra definitely did something we thought was impossible. I give her 100 stars.

Give them a try, you will not be sorry.

SHORT SALE HELP

Assisting You With Your Short Sale

If you are a homeowner who is considering a short sale, we can do more for you than just sell your home. With today`s housing crisis, a good  real estate investor with short sale experience is a key individual in the process of avoiding foreclosure. There are various options out there for avoiding losing your home to foreclosure. Some homeowners will qualify for loan modification. Others may need to go for a short sale of their home in order to avoid the negative stigma of foreclosure that can haunt them for years to come. If your home goes into foreclosure, you may not be able to purchase another home for seven years. If you do a short sale, that time period is cut in half.
How the Short Sale Works
The short sale is only for those homeowners who are facing a hardship. You must also have an upside-down mortgage, which means that you owe more on the home than the home is worth. Examples of hardship include unemployment or severe reduction in income, divorce, bankruptcy, medical emergency, transferring to a job out of down, or death of a co-homeowner.
The short sale involves selling the house at today`s market value while your lender agrees to accept that lower value for the home. Short sale negotiation process with bank is a very complex and time consuming process. A good short-sale real estate investor can work as a go-between you and the bank to help you successfully negotiate a short sale of your home. The  real estate investor will assist homeowners prepare a short sale package for submission to the short sale bank, which is the original creditor. This short sale package will include items that will allow the bank and the  real estate investor to proceed with the short sale, including a letter of authorization, which allows your  real estate investor to speak with the bank, financial statements, letter of hardship, tax returns, and various other documentation of your financial situation.
Benefits of the Short Sale
When you are at risk of foreclosure, the short sale is a viable option. The benefits of a short sale include:
  • Lesser effect on your FICO credit score than with a foreclosure. A foreclosure can drop your credit score by as much as 400 points. Although each lender reports a short sale differently to the credit bureau, the effect on your credit will be that of a mortgage paid in full. Only the late payments prior to the short sale will affect your overall credit score.
  • You will have no mortgage payments to make, unless you choose to keep making them.
  • You retain dignity in knowing that you sold your home as opposed to losing it to foreclosure; you avoid the stigma of foreclosure.
  • Under Fannie Mae Guidelines, you can buy another home in as little as two years. If you have no sixty-day-plus late payments, you may be eligible to buy another home immediately.
Every day that you don`t do anything is another day that you move closer and closer to foreclosure. To find out more about stopping foreclosure and going with a short sale, contact us now!
